How is the addition of such an individual going to bring about the kind of change the PTI chief is promising?
KARACHI: What is one to make of Sardar Asseff Ahmed Ali’s defection to the PTI. Until recently, he was a federal minister in the PPP government, which means that for three years he saw nothing wrong with his party. However, if reports are to believed, he had been upset with the PPP ever since Hina Rabbani Khar was made foreign minister, following Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s resignation. Also, the MNA from Kasur was the education minister at a time when there was a controversy surrounding the degrees of many members of parliament.
How is the addition of such an individual going to bring about the kind of change the PTI chief is promising all and sundry?
