Using Bhutto’s name will not ensure victory this time. The days of feudal politics are over.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s article of December 27 titled “On the fourth death anniversary of my mother”.
The fact is that the PPP won the last election due to sympathy votes of the population after the assassination of its leader. However, the current government has failed miserably in solving any of the issues faced by the nation and has lost its credibility. Using Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s or Benazir Bhutto’s name will not ensure victory this time. The days of feudal politics are over.
