The city administration, the police were very helpful to PTI and did not in any way obstruct the rally.
KARACHI: I am a resident of Parsi Colony near Nishtar Park. I have seen a lot of rallies in my time but I would say that the PTI’s on December 25 was one of the biggest that I am witness to.
Here are some observations: There were lots of young people of both sexes. I also saw lots of families present. Most of the people seemed to have come on their own vehicles: cars, big and small; motorcycles and mini-buses. The atmosphere was electric. Lots of people who appeared to be Pakhtun were present. And the rally was organised very well. I would also say that the city administration and the police were very helpful and did not in any way obstruct the rally.
