Law and Constitution

Letter December 24, 2011
Those who are demanding new elections earlier than their scheduled date are selfish and power-hungry.

KARACHI: Now is the time for all institutions to unite and say firmly with one voice loudly that the country’s constitution is above all else. If anyone wants to change the government, they can go to parliament and move a vote of no-confidence. Those who are demanding new elections earlier than their scheduled date are selfish and power-hungry.

The bottom line is that no one individual, group or institution is above the law and the dictates of the Constitution of Pakistan.
