Occupy Wall Street and Pakistan

Letter December 21, 2011
US has pulled the plug on aid a year ago, as Pakistan has received zilch from the US, and is managing on its own.

ISLAMABAD: It is gracious of Asif Akhtar (“What the occupation of Wall Street means for Pakistan” – December 21) from his vantage point at the New School in New York City to warn us that the Occupy Wall Street movement may squeeze the US government to pull the plug on aid to Pakistan. By the way, the plug was pulled a year ago, as Pakistan has received zilch from the US, and is managing on its own.
