We need to rid ourselves of this alliance for the betterment of the region.
ISLAMABAD: Whether good or bad, it is our own military and our own institutions which are facing scrutiny and thus having to make the decisions which they are. In these testing times, these institutions need our full support and not the kind of criticism that is being promulgated by enlightened people. The fact is that the US-led Nato came to the Middle East to avenge 9/11 and their thirst for Muslim blood remains even after killing half a million Afghans and one million Iraqis. We need to rid ourselves of this alliance for the betterment of the region and the steps being taken are part of this process.
