LAHORE: In Pakistan, observing Human Rights Day seems to be a mockery of human rights. Pakistan has been declared as one of the most dangerous places in the world for women, journalists and minorities. Those who raise their voice for human rights also come under higher risks. Keeping in view the current situation of human rights in Pakistan, I would suggest that to observe a single day won’t work; efforts should be made throughout the year.
