Who benefits from Salala?

Letter December 12, 2011
We still have the right to issue a note of dissent that would be attached to the report. That is standard procedure.

NEW YORK: This is with reference to Amina Jilani’s article “Qui bono”, published December 10. Why would the US apologise for the attacks at Salala when they say the attack was unprovoked? We should wait for the inquiry report to come out. More importantly, why have we declined to join in the investigations? Is it because we are afraid of what might come out? Either way, we would still have the right to issue a note of dissent that would be attached to the report. That, of course, is standard procedure in such matters.
