In order to avoid becoming victims, Rangers should occasionally break their routine deployment patterns.
KARACHI: This is with reference to a report in your newspaper titled “Blast in Karachi leaves 3 Rangers personnel dead”. It would appear that the terrorists who planted this remote control bomb at the said location must have known that a Rangers, vehicle parks at that particular spot every day. Surely, the paramilitary force should have displayed greater caution in this matter. It should have also exercised greater vigilance since those who planted the bomb must have kept the said spot under surveillance for some time. In order to avoid becoming victims to such incidents, the Rangers should occasionally break their routine patterns of deployment.
