KARACHI: The attack on the PNS Mehran Base showed that we were unable to protect our planes from getting destroyed by a handful of terrorists. There was a public outcry but no heads rolled. We have consistently failed to protect our borders and the most recent example of that was the Salala raid of November 26, and before that the Abbottabad raid which ended in the killing of Osama bin Laden. We keep saying we have world-class pilots but apparently they can’t do anything to protect our frontiers or soldiers.
