LAHORE: Apart from appeasing the militaristic, jingoistic and nationalist lobby, what else will we possibly achieve by not attending the Bonn conference, which opens tomorrow?
Surely, the right thing to do would have been to use the conference as a forum to express our grievances to the rest of the world and to convince those doubting our intentions in Afghanistan that we stand for regional peace and solidarity.
