If there was a need to place Ms Rehman in a foreign policy-related post, she could have been made foreign minister.
LAHORE: While Sherry Rehman is an intelligent and articulate individual, she is not a career diplomat. For this most important of diplomatic assignments, the government should have chosen a career officer, instead of handing the post to a ruling party-politician. If there was a need to place Ms Rehman in a foreign policy-related post, she could have been made foreign minister.
