If we can give someone like Asif Ali Zardari a chance then we can surely give Imran Khan a chance as well.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Ayesha Ijaz Khan’s article of November 17 titled “PTI and the media”. We have lost hope in just about every other political party there is in Pakistan. And if we can give someone like Asif Ali Zardari a chance then we can surely give Imran Khan a chance as well. I am 21 years old and was never really interested in politics, until someone like Imran Khan came on the scene.
His critics will wonder how he gives people support and I will say that this is obviously linked, in large part, to his cricketing heroics. He won for us the World Cup in 1992 and that gave millions of Pakistanis hope. And he is doing the same thing now — giving them hope for a better future.
