No parks in Sindh

Letter November 12, 2011
Relatively big cities of other provinces have adequate parks but in Sindh there seems to be an acute shortage.

ISLAMABAD: The lack of public parks and playgrounds in Sindh is a sad and undeniable reality. Relatively big cities of other provinces have adequate parks but in Sindh there seems to be an acute shortage. This means that the few parks that are present in the province’s various cities and towns have a lot of people using them. Also, there is next to no maintenance and often only those in affluent neighbourhoods of large cities like Karachi are looked after. Surely, the provincial government needs to pay attention to this issue.
