LAHORE: The problem in Pakistan is not the politicians but those who exploit them with material benefits or sometimes twist their arms with a show of weapons. Has Imran Khan got what it takes to resist such things? Also, we have yet to hear anything from him on the issue of human rights and how repeated military interventions in Pakistan’s history have trampled on these rights. Surely, Mr Khan is old enough to have witnessed the brutalities of most of the military regimes that have wreaked havoc on Pakistan. I wonder whether he has ever protested against them.
