I noticed that several sacrificial animals had been given names like ‘Don’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Munni’ and ‘Sheela.
ISLAMABAD: On a visit to a market selling animals for sacrifice on Eidul Azha, I noticed that several of them had been given names like ‘Don’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ravan’, ‘Munni’, ‘Sheela’ and ‘Chhamak Chhallo’ by their owners and these were written on the skins of the animals. Is this also a sign perhaps of increasing globalisation?
