Predicting the future (III)

Letter November 02, 2011
If the PTI can align itself with the PML-N, that would be good for the country as well as for both the parties.

SAN DIEGO, CA, US: I agree with Ejaz Haider. We need a change through reform (brick by brick) in policymaking and should not expect a revolution. To come out of this present impasse, we need two decades of good economic policies.

Two things will go against Imran Khan: his stance on terrorism and his lack of a team who can take the country out of its present economic mess. If I am given a choice, I will vote for the PML-N because I see it as having the best economic/finance team of any political party. As a person, Imran Khan is by far the most honest of all political leaders and he does seem sincere, but we should know that these are not the only requirements of a prime minister.

If the PTI can align itself with the PML-N, that would be good for the country as well as for both the parties.
