I respect Ms Zehra as a writer as she is balanced. But omitting Benazir Bhutto’s children disappointed me as a reader.
RAWALPINDI: This is with reference to Nasim Zehra’s article of October 25 titled “Ten feet tall”. In the opening few lines she writes: “As the Bhuttos — especially Sanam, Fatima, Zulfikar Jr and the rest”. Who are these “the rest”? I presume that she means Bilawal, Bakhtawar and Aseefa. The grieving ones are Murtaza’s children and the ‘rest’ three are Benazir’s offspring. If so, what kept her from taking their names? Don’t they belong to the Bhutto family?
I have great respect for Ms Zehra. She is a good writer and unlike most TV anchors she seems to be a balanced and clear-headed person. But her omission of Benazir Bhutto’s children has disappointed me as a reader.
