KARACHI: This is with reference to you report on Mathira of October 15 titled “I don’t take bakwaas: Mathira”.
Quite frankly, I think she’s a very brave girl. The insecure misogynists, of which many can be found in Pakistani society, cannot stand a girl who is not ashamed of her sexuality. This is what is at the root of all the animosity and hatred towards her. The majority of our men can’t stand a self-confident, unapologetic female who’s not afraid to speak her mind in front of a male audience.
