If individuals such as Sethi say things misconstrued as supportive of US, then many in Pakistan call them US agents.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Ejaz Haider’s article of October 12 titled “We don’t need maamas!”.
I, too, am a fan of Najam Sethi because I have found him to be extremely tolerant of dissent. Of course, American arrogance in this part of the world makes things difficult even for such right-thinking and progressive people. What I mean by that is that if such individuals end up saying things that are construed as being supportive of the Americans, than many people in Pakistan call them American agents. So the fault is not Mr Sethi’s but that of the Americans.
