Those running this country, civilian as well military leadership need to dispense with their lying to general public.
PESHAWAR: The way the APC was conducted and the end result, its resolution, all of it seems a cruel joke. Those who run this country, the civilian as well the military leadership need to dispense with their lying to the general public. They need to admit that without money and assistance from America the country cannot survive. They also need to admit that if they go after the Haqqani network, there will be a price to pay in terms of a severe backlask inside Pakistan. In such a situation, one wouldn’t be all that surprised if the Pakistan leadership quietly allows the US to carry out black operations inside Fata after which it will beat its chest and huff and puff about lost sovereignty.
