I’m a Pashtun and an Afghan — and I agree 100 per cent with what the writer has said.
WASHINGTON DC: This is with reference to Kamran Shafi’s article of September 16 titled “Aj you were”. I’m a Pashtun and an Afghan — and I agree 100 per cent with what the writer has said. I would say that this view is held not only by the majority of Pashtuns in Afghanistan but also Pakistan.
Politics aside, doesn’t a country want a friend and a neighbour to succeed and do well? If the answer to that is in the affirmative then why is Pakistan bent upon hurting Afghanistan by supporting the Afghan Taliban.
