For Pakistan to be at peace with India, it first has to be at peace with itself.
NEW DELHI: This is with reference to Kuldip Nayar’s article of September 15 titled “India cannot always be at odds with Pakistan”.
What would Mr Nayar have India do. Take the case of Atal Behari Vajpayee’s visit to Pakistan by bus. He went on a peace mission and in return, India got Kargil. And then, there were the attacks on Mumbai. For Pakistan to be at peace with India, it first has to be at peace with itself.
