I will go further and add that the two-nation theory proved that Muslims cannot live peacefully with Muslims.
ISLAMABAD: Aziz Akhmad’s article of September 8 titled “Two-Nation Theory or TNT?” was simple yet thought-provoking and I tend to agree with every point that he has made. Also, I am pleasantly surprised by what Nawaz Sharif had said about the two-nation theory. People like Wali Khan, Ghaffar Khan, and scores of veteran leaders have been labelled as traitors for such making such comments in the past, and so this is a welcome change.
As for the “scaffolding”, in our case it is the establishment, and “the midwives” are the clerics. I will go further and add that the two-nation theory proved that Muslims cannot live peacefully with Muslims. See what is happening in Pakistan.
