Why is India being threatened with the possibility of a war because of water mismanagement within Pakistan?
SAN DIEGO, CA, US: This is with reference to Dr Akmal Hussain’s article of August 16 titled “Pakistan’s water crisis”. The writer mentions that “effective management of this crisis in Pakistan requires close cooperation with India in joint watershed management... If we fail to do so, natural disasters could trigger the man-made catastrophe of war”.
Why is India being threatened with the possibility of a war because of water mismanagement within Pakistan? This is like holding Indian railways responsible for trains running late in Pakistan.
