KARACHI:
For decades, educators under the National Commission for Human Development and Basic Education Community Schools in Balochistan have endured severe hardships, including meagre salaries and an absence of job regularisation. Shockingly, these teachers are reportedly paid only once every six months, making it nearly impossible to manage basic household expenses or support their families.
Despite these demoralising conditions, they continue to perform their duties faithfully in the hope of eventual regularisation. This persistent employment uncertainty severely impacts their well-being and leaves entire families vulnerable. The provincial government and relevant authorities must look into this critical matter immediately. They must address the teachers’ grievances by ensuring timely monthly salaries and securing their employment status without further delay.
