In the words of Hillary Clinton, “Women rights are Human rights”. Women must be independent to take every decision about their lives without anybody questioning their choices, just like men do. They reserve the right to both physical and mental safety at their homes, workplaces and in public spaces. They should have all the rights to pursue the professional careers of their choice. They deserve to go about their daily activities and chores without any fear of being abused or maltreated. They have all the rights to question any kind of discrimination exercised in any capacity against them. They are entitled to the right of being heard and given due consideration for their respective concerns.
All these rights are not the entitlement of a single entity but all. Gender parity supports equality to avail opportunities, make choices, live a dignified and respectful life. It does not intend to dominate one gender and subordinate the other, rather it advocates the idea that all genders in a society have undeniable access to all the fundamental human rights.
