KARACHI:
The deteriorating condition of roads in Pasni, Balochistan, needs attention. Potholes and poor maintenance make daily travel difficult and hazardous. Commuters, students and patients face immense hardships, while broken roads routinely delay critical emergency services like ambulances. This infrastructure failure stems from poor construction, overloaded vehicles and inadequate drainage that worsens during heavy rainfall. Consequently, it cripples Pasni’s local economy, harming both trade and the fishing industry. The government must immediately repair these dangerous roads, upgrade drainage systems and strictly enforce vehicle weight regulations. Maintenance should be treated as a continuous responsibility, not a temporary fix. Safe roads are vital for Pasni’s socio-economic development. The relevant authorities should take swift action to protect lives and ease public suffering.
