KARACHI:
Internet and other digital resources are an important part of education today. Students use online lectures, educational websites, digital libraries and learning platforms to improve their knowledge and prepare for higher education and competitive examinations. However, many students, particularly those living in remote and rural areas of Balochistan, still face limited internet access, poor connectivity and a lack of digital facilities in educational institutions. This digital divide have placed students at a disadvantage compared with those who have easy access to technology and reliable internet services.
The relevant authorities should take practical steps to improve internet connectivity besides providing computer laboratories and digital learning facilities in schools and colleges, especially in underserved areas. Improving digital education will not only help students gain modern skills but will also create better opportunities for higher education and employment.
