Roadblocks in Turbat have become a daily source of difficulty for ordinary people. Students sometimes reach their classes late, workers lose valuable time and families face problems while travelling from one area to another.
The situation becomes more serious when an ambulance or a person going to a hospital has to wait at a blocked road. Roadblocks can also create long traffic lines, especially during busy hours. We understand that security is important, but the public should not face unnecessary delays because of poor traffic arrangements.
I request the concerned authorities to review the existing roadblocks and remove those which are not necessary. Security checks should be organised properly so that they can be completed quickly. Emergency vehicles should also be given priority. I hope the authorities will take suitable steps to make travelling easier and safer for the people of Turbat.
