KARACHI:
Balicha High School in Balicha village, District Tump, is currently facing a serious lack of basic educational facilities. These shortcomings are badly affecting students’ ability to study, especially during hot summer months.
The major problems include a shortage of chairs and tables, no fans in any classroom, no books or notebooks available in the library and no water cooler, resulting in a lack of clean, cold drinking water.
Due to these issues, students are unable to study comfortably and are being deprived of quality education. As Nelson Mandela rightly said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world.” Every child has the fundamental right to receive a good education in a proper learning environment. The students of Balicha village also deserve the same basic facilities that other schools have.
I kindly request the Education Department and the concerned authorities to consider the issues at Balicha High School and take immediate steps to resolve them. Providing chairs, tables, fans, library books and a water cooler is a basic requirement of any educational institution and need urgent attention.
