Although Pakistan is globally recognised for manufacturing footballs used in FIFA tournaments, the country still lacks a strong football team that could make it to notable global tournaments, let alone the World Cup. But we do have talented youth capable of making this national dream come true. The government and the Pakistan Sports Board should invest in training facilities, youth academies and professional coaching to improve the standard of football and strengthen the national team for participation in FIFA events. Competing in FIFA tournaments would bring international recognition, inspire young athletes and promote a stronger sports culture in Pakistan. It would create new opportunities for talented players and strengthen national pride.
