KARACHI:
Balochistan’s education system faces a critical crisis due to an acute shortage of over 10,000 public school teachers, severely disrupting daily operations. The situation is most dire in remote rural regions; these locations often lack basic facilities, making them unappealing to professionally trained educators. Consequently, thousands of schools rely on just one or two teachers to handle all classes, leaving staff heavily overburdened. This results in overcrowded classrooms and a lack of specialised math and science instruction. Addressing this gap requires urgent, targeted government interventions to ensure every school is adequately staffed.
