Co-curricular activities

KARACHI:

There is a dearth of activities in schools in Turbat, which is putting children at a disadvantage in comparison with the rest of the country. We have very few competitions, workshops and career guidance programmes. Because of this, many students are unable to develop their skills and confidence.
The educational authorities must allocate funds for more educational, sports and cultural activities. Career counselling sessions and skill-development programmes should also be introduced to help students prepare for their futures. I hope this request is taken seriously as the future of thousands of children rests on this prerogative, often taken for granted in other regions.
