Decorated begging

Our country is currently being run by charity schemes, Income Support schemes, Rozgar schemes, loan schemes and subsidies. There are also dozens of NGOs running on donations and zakat providing food, ambulance services, mortuary and other miscellaneous services for needy people. The problem is the government’s lack of engagement or effort in solving basic problems of ordinary people.
All of these schemes and subsidies are tranquilisers to provide temporary relief and demand political favours from innocent people to increase vote banks. We must do away with such schemes and instead provide job and business opportunities for the people. Instead of cultivating beggars in society, we need to encourage hard work.
