Growing traffic congestion in Garden West neighbourhood of Karachi is agonising for people living, studying or working there, as they endure daily gridlocks mainly due to Illegal parking and poor traffic management. The situation is particularly severe during morning and evening hours. Traffic congestion is not just annoying, it also adds to pollution and raises the risk of accidents. Even ambulances face a tough a time getting out of the traffic mess. Traffic police and other relevant authorities should take serious steps to ensure smooth flow of traffic on the roads in Garden West – and in other parts of the city for that matter.
