Water corruption

KARACHI:

Koshk Malikabad in Turbat is currently facing a grievous water shortage problem. Residents of the area have been suffering due to the unavailability of clean water for quite some time, but the situation has now become even more painful because the local waterman collects Rs300 from people yet still fails to provide water regularly. Despite receiving a salary and taking money from residents, he does not perform his duty honestly. 
Water is a basic necessity and denying it to people is highly unfair. The concerned authorities should immediately investigate this matter, ensure regular water supply and take strict action against those responsible for negligence and corruption.
