It is deeply troubling to observe the increasing involvement of young individuals in criminal and antisocial activities in our society. Juvenile delinquency, once a minor concern, has now grown into a serious issue that demands urgent attention. There are several reasons behind this problem. Lack of parental supervision, poverty, peer pressure and exposure to violence in media play a major role in shaping negative behavior among youth. Moreover, weak law enforcement and limited access to proper education further worsen the situation.
The consequences of juvenile delinquency are severe. It not only destroys the future of young individuals but also disturbs social peace and increases crime rates. If not addressed in time, it can lead to a generation that is disconnected from moral values and responsibility.
To tackle this issue, collective efforts are required. Parents must give proper attention and guidance to their children. Schools should focus on character building alongside academics. The government should introduce rehabilitation programmes and ensure strict implementation of laws to prevent youth involvement in crime.
In conclusion, juvenile delinquency is a growing problem that demands immediate action. By working together, we can guide our youth towards a brighter and more responsible future.
