Children have different IQ levels, and they perceive events around them in their own unique ways. It is true that even mediocre students can present wonderful results if the concepts are explained to them effectively. Students with lower IQ levels can also excel in their studies if they are properly guided and given due attention.
The environment also equally affects the performance of children. The education department should focus on the factors that hinder students from excelling in their studies. A good teacher considers the abilities and weaknesses of students and takes steps accordingly to bring improvement in their academic progress. Education is not something that can be ignored; it requires serious attention from authorities and the government if they truly want their nation to progress and achieve technological development.
Often, if a student does not perform well in lower classes, teachers in higher classes label them as slow. The same perception is then often reinforced by parents. But the success of most students depends upon the behavior, hard work and dedication of teachers as well as parents to keep them on the right track. This is, no doubt, a huge responsibility, and it brings great respect to both teachers and parents. The need of the hour is to make sincere efforts to strengthen the nation by imparting quality education to the new generation.
