Recycling habits

Letter February 27, 2026
Recycling habits

In our daily lives, we throw away plastic bottles, old clothes, paper and food waste. Most of these items can be reused or recycled instead of being wasted. Nowadays, our cities face serious problems due to increasing garbage.

Streets become dirty, drains are blocked and pollution increases because waste is not managed properly. If people learn to recycle and reuse items, we can reduce pollution and keep our environment clean. For example, plastic bottles can be turned into flowerpots or recycled into new products.

The government and local authorities should start awareness programs in schools and communities to teach people about recycling and waste management. ‘From Waste to Worth’ is a responsibility for all of us.
