The first U-turn from Johar Chaurangi towards Samama Shopping Center in Karachi poses a serious traffic hazard. Due to the smoothness of the road and absence of a speed breaker or any U-turn sign, the vehicles move at high speed which is dangerous for other motorists making a U-turn or the pedestrians crossing the road.
I live in an apartment facing the road near this U-turn. From my balcony, I have personally witnessed several accidents occurring at this exact spot. These accidents have resulted in serious injuries to the passengers besides causing damage to the vehicles.
I request the concerned authorities to make a speed breaker and install proper traffic signs near this U-turn as soon as possible. This small step can help control vehicle speed and prevent further accidents.
