As a student in Pakistan, I see how technology is changing our world every day. Artificial Intelligence is in the apps we use, the devices we own and even in schools and workplaces. I believe it is very important for young people to understand AI and how it works. Learning about AI is becoming as important as learning math, science or English.
In Pakistan, some universities and tech programs are starting to offer AI courses but there is still a lot of work to do in schools. AI education should not be only about coding or using AI tools. We should also learn about ethics, privacy and how to think critically about AI decisions. For example, students should know that AI can make mistakes and not everything it suggests is correct. Hands-on projects, like building simple AI models or using AI for real-life problems, can make learning exciting and meaningful.
As a student, I also feel that equal access to technology is important. Not all schools in Pakistan have computers or internet access, which makes it harder for students in smaller cities or villages to learn about AI. If we want Pakistan’s youth to compete globally in the future, we need government programs, school initiatives and community support to make AI education available to everyone.
If we start early, Pakistan’s youth can be prepared for future careers, innovations and leadership in a world where AI is everywhere. I hope that schools and universities in Pakistan will take AI education seriously and give students the tools to understand and use it wisely.
