Women today face growing threats from unsafe environments, misuse of technology and societal neglect. Unfortunately, many women are vulnerable due to harassment, misbehaviour and exploitation by certain individuals.
A modern and safe society requires collective responsibility.
Parents must be aware of the risks their daughters face, including from misuse of technology, such as unauthorised photos and videos being shared or manipulated online. This growing problem affects women’s dignity, safety and mental well-being.
The government must enforce strict laws, launch awareness programmes and ensure protective measures for women across the country. Also, parents, communities and authorities must work together to create a safer environment where women can live without fear and contribute freely to society.
