N-25 road

Letter January 17, 2026
N-25 road

The N-25 road is one of the most important highways in Balochistan, as it connects major cities such as Hub Chowki, Karachi and Quetta. Unfortunately, the condition of this road is extremely poor. It is badly damaged and mostly remains a single-lane road, which causes heavy traffic congestion every day.

The biggest problem is that no one seriously talks about or addresses this situation. Due to its poor structure and one-sided traffic flow, accidents occur daily, and many innocent people lose their lives. This situation has become unbearable for the people who travel on this road regularly.

Considering its geographical importance, the matter needs urgency. Even the Prime Minister’s convoy travels on this road. Despite this, no serious effort has been made to convert it into a dual carriageway.
Repair work is done occasionally, but it is incomplete and poorly planned. One section is repaired while another section remains broken. In this way, time and money are wasted, and the real problem is never solved. Unless this road is fully repaired and made two-way, accidents will continue, and people will remain afraid of travelling through it.

I request the Prime Ministers and relevant authorities in Hub, Karachi and Quetta to take immediate action to solve the problems related to N-25 road. Precious human lives are being lost due to negligence. This issue requires urgent attention for the safety and well-being of the public.
