Islamabad, the capital city, is often seen as the heart of Pakistan’s education and culture, as it hosts numerous universities and students from diverse backgrounds. Among them are many talented art students who deserve opportunities to express and display their creativity. Sadly, the city lacks sufficient art studios and museums to support and showcase their work.
Art studios and museums are essential for nurturing creativity and giving students a platform to grow, learn, and be recognised. Without such spaces, much artistic talent remains unseen and unappreciated. This not only affects students but also limits the cultural richness of the city.
Establishing more art studios and museums in the capital would encourage young artists, promote cultural awareness and help build a more vibrant and creative society.
