Kech District is facing a road-safety emergency that can no longer be ignored. The alarming surge in fatal accidents has left countless families shattered, yet the region continues to operate without a motorway police force.
With 1,603 road accidents recorded in 2024, Kech has become a highly affected district in Balochistan. Reckless driving, unchecked speeding and dangerous vehicles have turned the roads into death traps. These accidents are not isolated events. They reflect a systemic failure that demands immediate government intervention.
I call upon the Government of Balochistan to establish a dedicated motorway police force in Kech District without delay. Proper enforcement, monitoring and regulation are essential to slowing this rising death toll and protecting the people who travel these roads every day.
Every day without action means more preventable deaths, more families destroyed and more grief for a district already burdened with loss.
