The issue of food wastage in Balochistan is extremely pressing. In many hotels and marriage parties, a large amount of food is wasted. After the parties, leftover food is thrown away instead of being used. Similarly, in hotels, the food that is not sold is also thrown outside.
This not only makes the environment dirty but also harms the atmosphere. The smell of wasted food spreads and pollutes the air and water. It can also cause different diseases that affect people’s health. If hotels and marriage halls prepare only the amount of food needed, it will help keep the environment clean. The extra food can be given to poor people instead of wasting it.
I kindly request the people of Balochistan to stop wasting food and help the needy. This will ultimately improve our society and promote good habits.
