Inadequate healthcare

Letter October 12, 2025
Inadequate healthcare

The residents of Dasht-Mazanbad are facing a serious problem in the form of inadequate healthcare facilities. Hospitals are a basic necessity, yet people in this area are suffering due to the shortage of medical centers and trained doctors. Even for minor illnesses, such as coughs or fevers, it is difficult to find proper medical assistance.

The absence of nearby hospitals leads to delays in treatment, which often worsens health conditions and increases the risk of death, especially in emergencies such as accidents, childbirth, or severe illnesses. Residents are forced to travel long distances to access healthcare, spending large amounts on transport and losing valuable time and income in the process.

It is the responsibility of the government to establish hospitals and healthcare centres in Dasht-Mazanband and ensure the presence of qualified doctors. Such measures would bring much-needed relief and significantly improve the overall quality of life in the area.
