Turbat is one of the main cities of Balochistan, but sadly, the roads tell a different story. Most of the streets and link roads are broken; they are full of potholes and have been left without repair for years. People here face many problems while travelling.
During the summer, the broken roads create dust, which spreads almost everywhere and makes life difficult for people. On the other hand, during the rainy season, these same roads turn into pools of water. This makes driving unsafe, and accidents increase.
Students, patients and workers suffer when they cannot reach schools, hospitals and offices on time. Farmers also face a lot of losses. When roads are broken, they cannot take their fruits and vegetables to the market in good condition.
It is the duty of the government to repair these roads and provide safe travel for the people. Good roads mean development, trade and a better life. Without them, progress in Turbat will always remain slow, and citizens will continue to suffer.
