Mazan Band Dasht area of Turban in Balochistan has no proper roads, which causes serious problems to its residents. Due to the absence of black top roads, transportation has become extremely difficult. Students find it hard to reach schools, patients suffer in emergencies for want of easy access to hospitals, and traders cannot carry goods easily.
During the rainy season, the condition becomes even worse, as paths turn muddy and movement becomes almost impossible. It goes without saying that roads are the backbone of economic development, and without them, economic progress cannot be achieved. The authorities must take urgent steps for construction of proper roads in Mazan Band Dasht so that its residents may live with ease, and the region can move towards development.
